Your generous support in raising funds to help those with MS allows us to offer a wide range of services to all our Members located across Western Australia. The MS Society of WA aims to assist people living with MS to live life to their full potential by providing valuable care and support.
Where does your money go?
- $30 pays for a telephone consultation with a health care professional for up-to-date information about MS and MS management.
- $65 pays for a hand rail to be installed in a person's home to assist walking up and down stairs as MS can affect balance.
- $120 pays for a person with MS to participate in a Managing your Fatigue teleconference program to learn how to manage their symptoms better.
- $250 pays for an individually tailored exercise program to improve the balance, strength and mobility of a person with MS.
- $500 pays for a professional Health & Lifestyle assessment for a person with MS and the development of an individual action plan to improve health, wellbeing & quality of life.
- $1000+ additional funds will be allocated to continue the building of our Treendale high-support accommodation facility.
